The American Volleyball Coaches Association has named St. John Fisher College volleyball coach Kelly Greapentrog as a recipient of its inaugural Thirty-Under-30 Award. Greapentrog, who will enter her third season at the helm of the College’s volleyball team in 2009, is one of just three honorees from NCAA Division III. The RIT volleyball team dropped a five-set heartbreaker to SUNY Cortland on Wednesday evening at Clark Gym. The 24th-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology women’s volleyball team closed out the first weekend of Empire 8 play with a flawless 4-0 mark to match Nazareth College. The Ducks have now posted 45 consecutive wins versus conference foes, which extends back to the 2004 season when the program was part of the Skyline Conference.
