Dewart won the heptathlon at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) Championships to provisionally qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship with 4,311 points. She also earned the state title in the high jump (1.3 meters) to qualify for the ECAC Championship. Dewart was named NYSCTC Rookie of the Year.
Ithaca captured its 17th state championship, outscoring the next two teams combined. Jennifer Potter was named NYSCTC Coach of the Year… RIT finished fifth of nine teams at the state meet. Samantha Mitchell, Caitlyn Peterson, Abby Arday, and Allison Dupra won the 400-meter relay in 49.36 seconds. Mitchell placed second in the 100-meter dash (12.42 seconds) and the 200 meters.
