Miranda was named the Most Valuable Player of the inaugural Empire 8 Field Hockey Championship as second-seeded Nazareth defeated third-seeded Ithaca and top-seeded Washington & Jefferson to claim the conference title. She scored two second-half goals in the 3-2 semifinal win over the Bombers.

8 Field Hockey team notes...
Three Empire 8 teams were selected for the ECAC Division III Tournament. Nazareth (2nd seed), Washington & Jefferson (3rd), and Stevens (6th) will play in the eight-team tournament… Sophomore forward Kelly Flanagan scored two second-half goals as Nazareth erased a 1-0 deficit and defeated host Washington & Jefferson 2-1 in the Empire 8 title game. She finished with a school single-season record 17 goals.
