The Empire 8 announced its 2009 Field Hockey All-Conference team with senior Kara Borzillo of repeat conference champion Stevens Institute of Technology being named Empire 8 Player of the Year. Borzillo, who earned first-team all-conference honors at forward each of the past two seasons, moved to center midfielder this season.
