The Ithaca College women's cross country team will compete at Saturday's NCAA National Championship, hosted by Baldwin-Wallace at Highland Hills Golf Course in Highland Hills, Ohio. Freshman Jenn Randall placed sixth overall to lead the 25th-ranked women's cross country team to a fourth-place showing at Saturday's NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship. Senior Amanda Boccio and sophomore Heidi Baumbach joined Randall on the all-region team. The Empire 8 announced its 2009 Women’s Cross Country All-Conference team. First-year runner Jenn Randall finished first, nearly 31 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor, to lead Ithaca College to the team title at the Empire 8 Women's Cross Country Championship at Saratoga Springs. Each of the other four scoring runners for the Bombers finished among the top seven runners with two Ithaca non-scoring runners finishing eighth and ninth.
