Ithaca Chases Fifth Consecutive Title at Empire 8 Women's Tennis Championship hosted by Nazareth

Top-seeded Ithaca College (8-0 overall, 7-0 conference) seeks its fifth consecutive women's tennis title as Nazareth College hosts the Empire 8 Women's Tennis Championship with the semifinals on Saturday and the championship on Sunday. The tournament winner will capture the Empire 8 title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship.
The Bombers will play fourth-seeded Nazareth (5-5, 5-3) at Nazareth at noon on Saturday in one semifinal. The Bombers defeated the Golden Flyers 8-1 when the teams met on Oct. 10.
The other semifinal will be played at noon on Saturday at RIT with the third-seeded Tigers (7-5, 6-2) hosting second-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology (10-2, 7-1). The Ducks won 7-2 when the teams faced off during the opening weekend of the season.
Saturday's semifinal winners will meet in Sunday's final at noon at Nazareth.
