Scott Harris of St. John Fisher Named to 2008 Jack Nicklaus Award Watch List

Two-time Empire 8 Player of the Year Scott Harris of St. John Fisher has been named to the watch list for the 2008 Jack Nicklaus Award, which honors the Player of the Year in teh NCAA and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). He is one of 15 NCAA Division III golfers to be considered for the illustrious honor.
Harris, a senior All-American, ranks first in the nation in greens-in-regulation (.661), second in par 4 scoring (4.11), fourth in total short game (.593), and fifth in par 5 scoring (4.76). He led the Cardinals to a first-place finish at the Fred B. Kravetz Invitational over the weekend, claiming individual honors against a field of some of the nation's top golfers.
