Nine Empire 8 Student-Athletes Receive Women's Lacrosse All-Region Honors

ROCHESTER, NY – Nine conference players were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Empire Region all-star team.
Empire 8 Player of the Year Laurie Quackenbush, a junior midfielder from St. John Fisher College, was named to the first team. Joining her as first-team selections were senior attacks Tia Morgia and Beth Quartier of Nazareth College.
Six conference players were named to the second team, including senior attack Haley Koperski and sophomore defender Caitlin Navor of Empire 8 champion St. John Fisher. Sophomore defender Hannah Brennan and junior midfielder Caity Richardson of runner-up Nazareth were selected on the second team. Senior midfielder Asti Kutzer and junior attack Kim Medla of Ithaca College received second-team recognition.
