St. John Fisher Finishes 17th in NCAA Champions, Earns Numerous Honors

ROCHESTER, NY – St. John Fisher College finished 17th at the NCAA Division III Golf Championship in Fishers, Indiana. The Cardinals, who were making their second consecutive appearance in the national championship, recorded their best finish in school history.
Empire 8 Player of the Year Scott Harris was named a Third Team All-American and was named to the All-Region Team. Empire 8 Rookie of the Year Tom Muto was selected to the National All-Freshman Team and also earned All-Region honors. Bobby McCartney joined Harris and Muto on the All-Region Team. St John Fisher Head Coach Bob Simms was chosen as Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year.
