Ithaca, Utica Share Empire 8 Field Hockey Title

Stevens Institute of Technology defeated Utica College 2-1 in overtime to deny the Pioneers the outright Empire 8 field hockey title. Utica and Ithaca College each posted 4-2 league marks to share the conference title.
The title is the first Empire 8 title for the Pioneers in any sport. The Bombers claimed their second field hockey title and first since 2003.
