Epstein finished third overall at the NYSCTC meet at Saratoga on Saturday.  He once again improved upon his personal-best time for eight kilometers with a time of 25:23, 11 seconds better than his previous best.  Epstein led the Golden Flyers to a sixth-place team finish.

Co-Runner of the Week (Nov. 4)
Steven Chick, Stevens Institute of Technology
Fr., Edison, NJ/Edison HS

Chick finished first among 39 runners at the Halloween Classic at Van Cortlandt Park, completing the six-kilometer course in 20:45.63.  He had not previously finished first in a race at the high school or collegiate level.

Empire 8 Men's Cross Country team notes... (Nov. 18)

Seniors Nick Stenuf and Empire 8 Runner of the Year Brendan Epstein of Nazareth finished 38th and 39th, respectively, in the 280-runner field at the NCAA Division III National Championship meet at St. Olaf’s College in Minnesota.  Stenuf completed the eight-kilometer course in 25:17 with Epstein finishing one second later.
